RION Participates in Qualcomm® Voice and Music Extension Program

Rion announces that it will participate in the Qualcomm Voice and Music Extension Program in May 2022.

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is the world's leading wireless technology innovator, bringing the benefits of mobile to new industries, including automotive, the internet of things, and computing to help create a world where everything and everyone can communicate and interact seamlessly.

The Qualcomm Voice and Music Extension Program is a program that aims to accelerate collaboration, innovation, and business development by connecting member companies with each other. Companies at all levels participate in the program and work together using Qualcomm Technologies' products to develop innovative products. RION is the fourth Japanese company to participate and the first Asian hearing aid manufacturer to join the program*.

To meet the diversifying needs of "hearing", we will combine the acoustic signal processing technology we have developed over many years in hearing aid development with Qualcomm Technologies' innovative audio "connectivity" solutions to provide "new experiences" in "hearing".
